I worked at South pole summer 1987-88 season. I was in charge of putting up a phase array grid of nuetrino detectors outside the dome not far from the ice runway. It was for the University of Leeds in England. I wonder if this was the first in many experiments that led to what you saw many years later. Summer of ’84-’85 I helped build the Beardmore Glacier camp high up in the Transantarctic Mountains that was used for an international conference. A very strange thing happened to many of us there. It is kind of a long story and I am typing on my tablet right now. If you are interested just email me and I will share it with you. Love what you are doing, please keep up the goog work!
